Hello candle lovers, My name is Maria Beckham, and I am the founder and heart behind Cozy Momento. I am a Latina immigrant who arrived in this beautiful country at the age of 17. I am forever grateful to my parents for their incredible sacrifices—leaving behind everything familiar—to bring me and my siblings here, opening the door to new opportunities and a brighter future.

Becoming a mother to three wonderful children has been one of the greatest blessings of my life, they are my world.

In 2020, I met the love of my life. What began as a friendship quickly grew into a deep and unbreakable bond. Just five months later, he asked me to be his forever. His unwavering love has been my anchor, and I often find myself thinking, “Where were you all my life?”

Life, however, has not been without its challenges. In 2021, my world was shattered by the tragic loss of my oldest child, my Jr. who lost his life in an accident caused by a drunk driver shortly after returning from serving in the Army. I felt broken, lost, and overwhelmed by grief. There were moments when the pain seemed unbearable and the future uncertain. Yet, even in that darkness, a spark of hope remained.

Cozy Momento was born from that spark—a symbol of healing, strength, and resilience rising from the depths of my heartache. Creating these candles became my way to honor my son’s memory and to share warmth and comfort with others. Each candle I make represents a step toward hope, a celebration of life’s precious moments, and a reminder that every day is a gift.

En 2020, conocí al amor de mi vida. Lo que comenzó como una amistad rápidamente se transformó en un vínculo profundo e irrompible. Solo cinco meses después, me pidió que fuera su compañera para siempre. Su amor inquebrantable ha sido mi ancla, y a menudo me pregunto: “¿Dónde estuviste toda mi vida?”

La vida, sin embargo, no ha estado exenta de desafíos. En 2021, mi mundo se destrozó por la trágica pérdida de mi hijo mayor, mi Jr. quien perdió su vida en un accidente causado por un conductor ebrio poco después de regresar de servir en el Ejército (Army). Me sentí rota, perdida y abrumada por el dolor. Hubo momentos en que el sufrimiento parecía insoportable y el futuro incierto. Pero, incluso en esa oscuridad, permaneció una chispa de esperanza.

Cozy Momento nació de esa chispa—un símbolo de sanación, fortaleza y resiliencia que surge desde lo más profundo de mi dolor. Crear estas velas se convirtió en mi manera de honrar la memoria de mi hijo y de compartir calor y consuelo con otros.
